Bruce Lee Postcards

Bruce Lee postcards are a must have for any collector, but they are also a cheap way to get started if you are looking to start your own Bruce Lee collection. Here are some postcards that I've collected around Seattle, with many more still to be scanned, so stay tuned for more!

Bruce Lee Comic Book, Issue No. 1

This is one of my favorite and prized Bruce Lee items. This "Bruce Lee" comic book from independent publisher Malibu Comics came out in 1994 and was a six-issue miniseries. Written by Mike Baron and drawn by Val Mayerik and James Sherman, this comic has some great images, including a couple of close-ups that actually look like Bruce Lee. Enjoy below, and click the images for full-sized versions.

Bruce Lee Embroidered Patch

I found this in a local store in the International District of Seattle. This place is a hidden jewel of the International District and has a lot of Bruce Lee memorabilia - posters, patches and lots of other other items. I'll take you on a tour of the store in a future post and show you more items that I obtained from this secret store.

"The Legend of Bruce Lee" by Alex Ben Block

I picked this book up at a Goodwill in Seattle, and is an intimate portrait of Bruce Lee. Alex Ben Block's "The Legend of Bruce Lee" contains information about Bruce regarding his childhood experiences between East and West, discovery and mastery of his martial arts system (Jeet Kune Do), his movie career as the first Asian American superstar, marriage, love life, diet, philosophies, friends, enemies and truth about his strange death. This book is a dedication to the martial artist we all know as Bruce Lee Siu Loong: The Dragon.
